TOMS is helping Friends of TOMS win $50,000
Be a part of Friends of TOMS first-ever fundraising effort!

Friends of TOMS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to mobilizing, connecting and empowering people who want to give further aid to the communities served by the TOMS One for One movement. Every dollar raised helps to create and coordinate avenues for individuals to volunteer and participate in a Shoe Drop, where shoes provided by the TOMS One for One movement are hand-placed on a child's foot.

Focus: Friends of TOMS supports TOMS commitment to eradicate Podoconiosis by providing the necessary support for treatment of Podo, including soaps, bandages and anti-fungal creams. Click here to learn more about Podo [link to Podo page] Now we have a chance to win $50,000 for Friends of TOMS. Think how many Shoe Drops that could support! And how much nearer we could get to our goal of eradicating Podoconiosis.

Here's how it works: from now until November 6th, participating non-profits will compete for cash awards based on the number of donations made to their cause. Not the total dollar amount, but the number of donations. In other words, 100 people donating just $10 will help more than 1 person donating $100.

You can donate once each day right up until 3pm EST on November 6th. Here's what you could help Friends of TOMS win:

* Daily prize of $1000 each day for the highest number of donations that day
* Grand prize of $50,000 for the highest overall number of donations

We're excited about this challenge, but we need your help. You can help by donating something - anything - even as little as $1. And just as important, you can help by telling your friends and spreading the word. We need your help EVERYDAY of this contest. This is Friends of TOMS first-ever fundraising effort!
The best way to win is to donate or share the news and post often. Tell your friends to do the same. Then they can tell their friends, who can tell their friends...and on and on.
