Social news site Digg.com joins TOMS Shoes this Holiday in a unique collaboration. The TOMS + Digg shoes are a fun interpretation of the alpargata Classic style with geometric zig-zag stitching and a neon orange sole. When Digg Founder Kevin Rose and Chief Shoe Giver Blake Mycoskie met earlier this year, they were inspired to collaborate on a project that would reflect the innovative spirit of each of their companies. Kevin Rose launched Digg.com in December 2004, a site where people go to discover and share online content. From the largest websites to the smallest, most obscure blogs, each story, video or image on Digg is submitted and voted on by the over 40 Million unique visitors a month, collectively surfacing the best of the Web. Similarly, TOMS has changed the way consumers view their purchasing power with the One for One business model.

“The fact that [Kevin Rose] wanted to help us put more shoes on children’s feet is really cool,” says Blake. “I think the shoe came out amazing!”
